It has been found out from the field level that in several upazilas including Jessore, Satkhira, Dinajpur, Gaibandha, Chuadanga, leaders of various levels of Jamaat started election activities as potential candidates.
District Jamaat has finalized candidates for three posts of Chuadanga Damurhuda Upazila Parishad. Among these, Chuadanga District Jamaat Naib Amir Azizur Rahman nominated as Chairman, Damurhuda Thana Amir Naib Ali as Vice Chairman and District Jamaat Shura Member Rehena Khatun as Female Vice Chairman.
Amir Muhaddis Enamul Haque was nominated as a candidate for the post of Chairman in Birampur Upazila of Dinajpur. However, none of them collected the nomination papers after the central instructions of the party.
