Sagarika Smriti, associate researcher of Patuakhali district of EcoFish-2 Activity, a subsidiary of research institute World Fish, said, 'Jellyfish have grown in the Bay of Bengal near Kuakata for 15 days. Turtles love to eat jellyfish. According to the information provided by our staff, the turtles had injury marks on their backs, suggesting that both turtles may have died due to injuries.' He also said that the scientific name of the two turtles found at Kuakata beach is Lepidoceles olivacea (Lepidochelys Olivacea). They usually live more than 50 years.
