The Prophet (PBUH) used to say while sitting after praying, 'Allahumma Antas Salam Wa Minkas Salam Tabarakta Ya Jal Jalali Wal Ikram.' That is, 'O Allah, You are Salam (Giver of Peace and Security), from You comes Salam (Peace and Security). You are Blessed, O Glorious Greatness. (Muslim, Hadith: 591-592)

Once Hazrat Anas (RA) was sitting with the Prophet (PBUH). Then a man came there and prayed, saying, 'Allahumma inni asaluka bianna lakal hamdu, la-ilaha illa antal mannan, badyus samawati wal arad, ya jal jalali wal ikram, ya hayyu ya qayyum.'

The Prophet (PBUH) said, 'You prayed to Allah through Isme Azam, the name of which Allah Almighty responds and if you ask for something, He grants it.' (Sunan Tirmidhi: 3,544, Abu Dawud 1,495, Nasa'i, 130).

Allah has ordered His servants to remember Him all the time. Allah says, 'O believers! Remember Allah abundantly and glorify Him morning and evening. (Surah Ahzab, Verses 41-42)
