Why Chilmari commuter train does not return via Parvatipur

A few days ago, I discussed the matter with Asim Kumar Talukder, General Manager of Western Region of Bangladesh Railway. He asked to convey the proposal in writing. There the Rangpur Express shuttle train was stopped for half an hour and released on the promise of DRMA.

Districts that have railways, on an average, get six to eight times the local and intercity rail services. Panchagarh has six inter-city trains including five, while Lalmonirhat has four inter-city trains including demo, local and commuter trains. A total of eight trains run in Nilphamari district including six inter-city ones. A total of 10 trains run in Rangpur, including 2 inter-city ones, and the same number of trains also run in Dinajpur.
