To be done in the last ten days of fasting

by endroar

Every moment of fasting is precious. Every moment of Ramadan is blessed. The most mercy is in the last 10 days of Ramadan. Because at that time there is Shabbat Qadr. There are many things to do at this time.

1. Even in a short period of time, Allah has arranged the reward of a thousand months. This is possible through Shabbat Kadar. The last 10 days should be thanked to God. Emphasis should be placed on the ministry of the soul.

2. It is in Sahih Bukhari that Ayesha (R.A.) said, 'As soon as the last 10 days began, the Prophet (S.A.W.) would be busy in worship and would ask his family members to stay up all night in worship.'

3. Itikaf can be done separately from the family.

4. According to a hadith, the Prophet (PBUH) used to engage in worship during the last 10 days of Ramadan in a way that he did not at any other time of the year. For the last 10 days, he used to wake up at night to pray, was busy in dhikr, recited the Quran.

Keeping this Sunnah in mind, worship should be diversified. Any Shariah compliant practice can be chosen. Some prefer prayer, some dhikr, some Quran recitation. You can choose the prayers of your choice and practice them repeatedly.

5. The more you love, the more you like to spend time alone with him. Similarly, the more a servant knows his Lord, the more he feels peaceful and happy spending time alone with him. Itikaf is that worship. It provides a golden opportunity to detach from everything and connect with Allah.
