In Naogaon, load shedding has been going on for seven to eight hours day and night in rural areas for a week. In urban areas, load shedding is two to three hours. Residents of Sunamganj, 13 upazilas of Comilla and Jessore are also suffering from load shedding.

Elias Hossain, a resident of Balarampur village of Jessore's Bagharpara upazila, said that there is no electricity for 5 to 6 hours in 24 hours. He came to the village with his wife and children on the occasion of Eid. They are suffering from load shedding while visiting.
