Banu Nazir lives two miles away from Medina. They were bound by a peace treaty with the Prophet (PBUH). In this situation, when the Prophet (PBUH) went to their neighborhood, they allowed him to sit under a roof. Later they conspired to kill him by rolling stones from the roof. When he was informed about this through the revelation of Allah, he moved away from the place. Told them, 'You have broken the contract. You are given 10 days to leave wherever you want. If any of you are found after that, you will be punished with death.'

They did not leave the country at the instigation of the hypocrite chief. The Prophet (PBUH) besieged their neighborhood in the month of Rabiul Awal of the fourth Hijri. When they refused, the Prophet (PBUH) once again gave them a chance and said, “Leave the area now with as many things as you can except weapons.” Following the order, they left the country. Some went to Khyber Valley, some to Syria.

The last three verses of the Surah say, 'He is Allah, there is no god but Him. He is the knower of the unseen and the seen. He is Most Merciful'.

Surah Hashar was revealed in Medina. Its 3 bows, 24 verses. This Surah mentions the deportation of the Jews.

The Prophet (PBUH) said: Whoever recites the last three verses of Surah Hashar in the morning. Allah appoints 70 thousand angels for that person; Those who continue to pray for forgiveness for that person until the evening. And if the man dies during this period, then he will be martyred. And whoever recites it in the evening, then he has the same status.' (Sunan Tirmidhi, Hadith: 3090)
