Prime Minister's economic advisor Mosiur Rahman said that the election manifesto has more or less reflected the hopes and aspirations of the people. Advising to give importance to mathematics education, Mosiur Rahman said that the number of mathematics students in the secondary level continues to decrease in the higher secondary level. Mosiur Rahman said that if curiosity about science is not created, no one will read about it, but it is very important for the young generation to study science in building a smart Bangladesh.

This adviser to the Prime Minister suggested to look into the matter of duty waiver in depth. He said, it should be seen whether the production increases with the duty waiver or not. He also felt that there is no need to keep the duty waiver jurisdiction under the jurisdiction of the tax authorities.

Former state planning minister Shamsul Alam pointed out the decline in the contribution of the agriculture sector to the GDP and the increase in the service sector. He raised the question whether Bangladesh is becoming industrialized or not. Regarding the VAT collection, the former state minister said that the implementation of the VAT law should be looked at first. Shamsul Alam said, let the National Board of Revenue collect the tax. And let the Department of Internal Resources formulate policies on these matters. It will be good.
