On Monday afternoon, going to the south side of Ichagari village of Sadar Upazila of Haor, it is seen that many lands of Haor have been submerged in water. Farmers are trying to harvest that paddy by going down into the water. Some are cutting paddy for cattle feed.

Lutfur Rahman, a farmer of Dariyabaz village in Haorpar, said that his 26 bigha of land has lost rice. The rice of this land covers all the expenses of the whole family including food for a year. He spent 40 thousand rupees to plant the land. There are loans. Lutfur Rahman said, 'I'm done. I don't understand what to do. There will be no profit in cutting this raw rice.'

Ichbar Ali, a farmer of Ichagari village, said that he had planted boro paddy on six bighas of land. All land is submerged in water. Raw paddy is now being cut for cattle feed.
