PSC Chairman Md. Sohrab Hossain told Prothom Alo, 'The third examiner has not finalized the report of the written examination of the 44th BCS. We are trying to give results before Eid. It will be understood after getting the account from them.'

When asked about this, an official of the PSC examination control wing told Prothom Alo that the 44th BCS account has been sent to the third examiner since mid-February. They have been allotted 10 to 15 days to see these accounts. Those who have less accounts, 10 days and those who have more accounts, 15 days have been urged to complete the accounts. But some examiners are taking more time to look at the ledger.

According to PSC sources, after the completion of BCS written examination, it was first given to the examiners. They are also given time to see this ledger. Now the first examiner has submitted that account and seen the account as the second examiner. Then when they submitted the account as second examiner, it was verified. If there is a difference of 20 percent or more marks between these two accounts, it is finalized by showing it to the third examiner as per rules.
