Illumination in various establishments of Savar breaking the instructions on Genocide Day

On March 25, 1971, the people of Bengal suffered the brutality of the Pakistani forces. Genocide day is observed on March 25 every year to commemorate that night. According to the national program taken by the government on the occasion of the day, on March 25 no lighting can be done in buildings or structures. However, in Dhaka's Savar, lighting was seen in various establishments on Monday night without complying with this instruction.

On Monday night from 8:30 PM to 10:00 PM, Savar's Nabinagar, Radio Colony, Savar Bus Stand, Thana Stand can be seen, various shops, restaurants, industrial establishments, private hospital buildings are lit with colorful lights. Highway dividers and pedestrian-bridges in the Savar bus stand area have also been illuminated. The wall and main gate of the Savar National Memorial are also lit up with lights.
