by endroar

The human skin binding of a 19th century book in the library of Harvard University in the US has been removed. For the last 90 years, the book bound in human skin was preserved in the library.

According to the university, they have removed human skin from that book.

Since the 1930s, the university's Houghton Library has had a book called 'Destinies of the Soul'. In 2014, scientists concluded that the binding of the book was actually made of human skin. The book was bound with the skin of a woman.
