Afridi didn't make a statement about Babar, PCB made a fake statement

“It is an ultimate honor to captain the Pakistan national team. I will always cherish this memory and opportunity. As a team player it is our duty to support captain Babar Azam. I played under him and I have nothing but respect for him. I will try to support him on and off the field. We are all one. Our goal is the same, to make Pakistan the best team in the world.'

The above statement was given by the recently departed T20 captain Shaheen Shah Afridi after Babar Azam was given the responsibility again. That statement was on the Pakistan Cricket website even at the time of writing this report. So far everything was fine.

But the new news is that Afridi did not make that statement. Afridi, who was sacked as captain after just one series, has been angered after printing a statement that he did not speak to him. The cricket-based website ESPNcricinfo says that the left-handed pacer also tried to make another statement in this regard. However, the PCB stopped him on the basis of urgency.

Afridi, however, did not stop at that. He is scheduled to have a meeting with PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi today.
