A temporary stage has been set up on the eastern side of Bangabandhu Avenue for the rally. Leaders and workers of various police stations and ward committees of Dhaka Metropolis South and North Awami League are gathering in groups at the meeting place with processions. Due to the procession and crowd of leaders and activists who came to join the rally, severe traffic jams have been created on the roads around Gulistan including Bangabandhu Avenue.

Meanwhile, the leaders and activists who brought the procession are being asked to remain silent due to the holy month of Ramadan. The leaders and workers are also sitting on the chairs kept for the rally after stopping the procession. Women leaders and activists are sitting on chairs and on the road in front of the stage.

Abu Ahmed Mannafi, president of Dhaka Metropolitan South Awami League, said in his greeting speech at the beginning of the rally, “We will chant slogans less and talk less during the month of fasting.” But I will work more. We must be vigilant against the enemy through our work.'
