Meanwhile, from 7:30 PM to 12:00 PM yesterday, there were intermittent shelling and mortar shell attacks in Nagpura and Boli Bazar areas of Myanmar's Rakhine State. Loud explosions were heard across the Naf river in North Para, Lombabil, Unchiprang, Kanjarpara, Hnila, Moulvibazar, Wabrang, Phule Dale, Chowdhurypara, Puran Bazar and other villages of Hnila and Hoikong Union. Residents of border areas spend sleepless nights in fear. However, from 6 am to 12 noon on Tuesday, no explosions or gunshots were heard at any border of Teknaf upazila.

Hnila Union Parishad (UP) Chairman Rashed Mahmud Ali said that five BGP members of Myanmar fled through the border area at night and took refuge in Bangladesh. More than half a hundred BGP members are waiting at the border to enter Bangladesh.
